Garbage and Wasps

Yesterday, Lauren got to go with Daddy to take the garbage out to the bins. After they put it in they were washing their hands and when Dave turned around he saw 2 wasps on her shirt. They went at him as he got them off her, but it was too late. She had already been stung. She started to cry but when daddy picked her up she kind of mellowed. He asked if she got hurt anywhere, but she didn't answer.
I heard them coming up the stairs and could tell by her cry that something was wrong. They came in and Dave said that he thought she was stung but didn't know. When I saw her face I assumed that that was the only one, but it turns out that she also had one on her chest and one on her middle finger on her right hand.

We put some Baking Soda on it and gave her an antihistamine and she wanted to watch Dora. While we were watching Dora she would make me go back to the picture of the wasp that we pulled up online and would keep saying "no no no wasp, no get Lauren"(well it actually sounds like wass, but you know what I mean.) While we were watching, Dave went down and sprayed the nest and killed the buggers. Lauren, of course, is taking full credit for killing them.
After the Bi-carb dried, we rinsed it off and put on some Plantain Oil and within 10 minutes of that, most of the "stingy stuff" had come out to a head (like a zit...look at the pics, amazing stuff it is!)

Today you can barley tell they are there, and she has only had to tell them off a few times...lol We went down and took a pic of the "carnage" that Dave has left behind.
